2021 Professional Development Scholarships awarded
The 2021 Professional Development Scholarships were awarded at a presentation ceremony on Saturday 20 November.
The purpose of these scholarships is to:
- Enhance the professional and personal development of members;
- Improve career development; and
- Promote a high level of professional service to the community.
There are two scholarship categories:
President’s Scholarship – awarded to either (or both) volunteer and staff members.
Chris Lord Memorial Scholarship – awarded to the most suitable volunteer applicant.
In total seven scholarships were awarded this year. The recipients and their courses of study are:

- Grant Morey – Graduate Certificate in Safety Leadership
President’s Scholarship
- Kim Hill – Political Acumen for Emergency Management
- Campbell Kenyon – Certificate III in Arboriculture Climbing
- Eva McDonald – Bachelor of Psychology and Social Sciences
- Clint Pressley – Diploma of Leadership and Management
- Lewis Roth – Bachelor of Paramedicine
- Steven Terry – Diploma Public Safety (Emergency Management)
