Members invited to RFSA Conference 201
Members of the NSW Rural Fire Service are encouraged to register for RFSA Conference 2013, one of Australia’s premier Emergency Services forums, being held in Mudgee from the 21st to 23rd June 2013 at Parklands Resort and Conference Centre.
President of the NSW Rural Fire Service Association (RFSA), Brian McKinlay has announced the Association will be sponsoring 400 of its registered RFSA Members to attend the event, with expressions of interest now open.
The RFSA holds a biennial conference at different locations around NSW and brings together members of the NSW RFS, leading fire management professionals and practitioners, policy makers, technical specialists, educators and community safety specialists in addition to equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
“Our conference theme this year is ‘Recognise, Foster, Support and Achieve’ and we want as many of our Members as possible to attend,” Mr McKinlay said.
RFSA Conference 2013 will be opened by the Hon. Michael Gallacher MLC, Minister for Police and Emergency Services, and the conference program and speakers list is shaping up to be an informative, entertaining and motivating mix of industry related and life experience speakers including NSW Rural Fire Service Commissioner, Shane Fitzsimmons.
“I strongly encourage anyone who is involved with the NSW Rural Fire Service and is a registered Member of the RFSA to nominate to attend this year’s conference. If you’re not currently a registered Member, there is no fee to join the Association and you can even register at the same time as you complete your conference expression of interest form.” Mr McKinlay said.
