RFS issues warning to members about formaldehyde in uniforms after CSIRO study, Sydney Morning Herald, 02/03/2015
Thousands of firefighters across the state have been advised to take precautions when handling their uniforms after the flame-retardant gear was found to contain cancer-causing formaldehyde.

AFAC in collaboration with Attorney General's Department has recently developed a National Statement of Capability for Fire and Emergency Services. The purpose of this document is to quantify the readiness and capability of agencies across Australia to respond to an emergency.
